Memorial Day Concert and Tribute

The Luke Spehar’s band will play the Annual Never Forget Memorial Day Concert at the Rotary Bandshell starting at noon.

The Memorial Day program at the Eagan Tribute and Memorial Plaza begins at 1:30 pm. The keynote speaker will be
Major General Johanna Clyborne. It will include the Women Veteran Statue Presentation.

Major General Johanna Clyborne retired as a traditional Guardsman with over 35 years of service. In her final assignment, she served as the Assistant Adjutant General for the Minnesota National Guard. A combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where she received the Bronze Star. Johanna holds the distinction of being the first female to command a brigade, to obtain the rank of Brigadier General in the Minnesota Army National Guard, and the first female to obtain the rank of Major General in the Minnesota National Guard.
