Our hope is to pay tribute to the almost 22 million living Veterans and the millions of active personnel across the globe who exemplify the true character of the American spirit. \n8:15 a.m. – a social hour with coffee\, juice and cinnamon rolls. They will be doing it at 7:30 am. \nHy-Vee Veterans Day Breakfast \nMany Hy-Vee stores celebrate Veterans Day each year by offering a free breakfast buffet to all veterans and active-duty military members as a way of thanking veterans and military members for their service. Hy-Vee typically serves more than 80\,000 veterans and their guests each year at their in-store dining facilities or restaurants. Many stores offer planned programs\, displays\, entertainment or other activities to complement the breakfast event.
