Post 594 Flag Day 2017 – Flags are folded prior to being burned.
On June 14, 2017, Post 594 and local Boy Scouts conducted a flag retirement ceremony. It was held at the Thomas Lake Park Pavilion. Flags that were collected at the Eagan Community Center were retired.
A ceremony was read by Post members and the Boy Scouts while flag was folded. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the remainder of the flags were folded and prepared for burning. Post members, Scouts and even family members assisted with the folding of the flags.
