Daniel R. Olsen American Legion Post 594 Adjutant and Legion Rider Wayne Beierman is participating in the 2019 American Legion Legacy Run that starts August 18, 2019 in Lady Lake, FL and will end in Indianapolis, IN on Friday, August 23, 2019 for the 101st National Convention.
Raising money for The American Legion Legacy Fund is a major annual fundraising event for the Legion Riders. The Legacy Fund provides scholarship money for the children of fallen service members and children of veterans with a disability rating of 50-percent or higher. On August 1 7 and while in Florida, Wayne had the opportunity to present a $1500.00 Legacy Fund donation from Daniel R. Olsen Post 594 to National American Legion Commander Brett Reistad.
