On Thursday, September 11, 2025 the Daniel R. Olsen American Legion Post 594 and Eagan Lions Club hosted an 9/11 Remembrance and Memorial event. Additionally, members of the Eagan Police Department, Eagan Fire Department, Eagan High School, Eagan Boy and Girl Scouts, Eagan Parks and Recreation and Eagan Community Center participated in the event. The Keynote Speaker for the event was Eagan Fire Chief Hugo Searle.
