AL Post 594 will be holding a flag retirement ceremony on Flag Day, this Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Thomas Lake Park Pavilion on Pilot Knob Road. The gathering will begin at 6:00 pm and the Flag Retirement starting at 7:00 pm.
This year, a Girl Scout troop will be joining American Legion Post 594. These young ladies will learn flag etiquette. This is a teachable moment for us to teach them how to inspect and fold flags, and proper American Flag retirement.
