Dakota County Veterans Service Officers Lisa Thomas and Karly Tiegs will be attending to provide updates on veteran affairs and benefits.
Post Adjutant Wayne Beierman will lead and facilitate this specific meeting.
Future post meeting have also been scheduled, as follows – all at 1900, on Tuesdays, in the Banquet Room at Cedarvale Bowl: 3/19/19 and 5/21/19.
Immediately following this post meeting, we’ll be holding our fourth event to honor Vietnam veterans and their families. Post 594 is a Registered Partner of the United States of American Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration. The Commemoration honors all United States veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time between November 1, 1955 to and May 15, 1975, regardless of location. The Commemoration also uses the term “Vietnam Veteran” to describe those veterans who served on active duty during this time period, and makes no distinction between veterans who served in-country, in-theater, or who were stationed elsewhere during the Vietnam War period. If you are eligible for this recognition and have not done so yet, please attend.
