On August 8, 2019 the Daniel R. Olsen American Legion Post 594 was honored to be responsible for the Flag Raising event to kick-off the day’s activities at the Dakota County Fair. Members Frank Caldwell, Mark Frascone, David Hammer, and Dan Seanoa of the award-winning Post 594 Color Guard raised the U.S. and State of MN Flags at 8:00 am.
Note: the flags were placed at half-staff due to an existing proclamation for the victims of the tragic shootings that took place in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.
