On Wednesday 9/11/19, the Daniel R. Olsen American Legion Post 594 will be holding a brief memorial on the 18th anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11/2001. This event will be held at the Eagan Tribute Plaza (Hero’s Memorial) adjacent to the Eagan Community Center and will start at about 7:00 PM. Neha Nayak and Audrey Schwartz of the Eagan High School Concert Choir will be singing the National Anthem and God Bless America, and we are hopeful that members of the local Girl Scouts will be leading us in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. After Past Post 594 Commander Tom Mullon plays TAPS, the Post 594 Color Guard will be raising the U.S., Police, and Fire Department flags to full-staff, which will conclude the ceremony. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
